EtherCAT gateway for distributed IO

The BM10-RM-EC coupler bridges an EtherCAT master network to a modular I/O rack. With two RJ45 ports at a 100 Mb/s transmission rate, it passes cyclic process data to and from attached expansion modules.

Isolation and backplane

Electrical isolation protects the local I/O from ground loops and network transients, raising signal integrity in mixed industrial environments. The high-speed backplane bus feeds data efficiently to connected modules.

Mounting and service

The plastic housing keeps it compact and lightweight, with easily accessible expansion interfaces. A guide-rail slot design fits DIN-rail mounting in electrical cabinets, simplifying installation and operation.
