Compact EtherCAT Closed-Loop Drive

The 2HSS57C-EC is a closed-loop stepper drive with an EtherCAT fieldbus interface, designed for 24-48 VDC or 18-36 VAC supply and output current from 0 to 5.8 A.

Closed-Loop Performance

A 32-bit ARM processor runs the power-angle closed-loop control algorithm, which maintains torque at medium and high speeds better than open-loop drives and, in some applications, allows the drive to replace a servo drive.

Configuration Interface

A built-in keypad and digital tube display support direct configuration of slave ID, baud rate, and rotation direction.

I/O and Signals

Five digital inputs provide homing reference, forward/reverse limit switches, and probe function. Three digital signals handle brake control, alarm, and in-position indication.
