The 3HCS2202-17BC is the 2 A entry in the 3-phase closed-loop stepper drive range. It runs from a 150-240 VDC supply and is sized for smaller stepper motors in machines where the payload is modest but position reliability still matters.
A 2 A maximum output current covers small 3-phase stepper motors used in light indexing and feed axes. Because the drive still operates with full closed-loop control, it detects and corrects missed steps that an open-loop drive would simply ignore. On machines that run thousands of cycles per day, that reliability directly affects scrap rates.
Pulse/Dir and CW/CCW pulse modes are supported, keeping the drive compatible with the majority of industrial motion controllers.
