The 60J0784EC-1000-LS is a 5-phase closed-loop stepper motor in a NEMA24 frame. It is rated at 1.6 N·m holding torque with a 1.4 A phase current, an 84 mm body, an 8 mm shaft and an integrated 1,000 P/R encoder. It brings 5-phase smoothness to the 60 mm frame class.
Compared with 2-phase steppers, the 5-phase winding produces more uniform steps and lower vibration at low speed. This matters in battery equipment and packaging cells where mechanical resonance can shake the workpiece or disturb an adjacent sensor. The 1.4 A current also keeps the drive stage compact.
The integrated 1,000 P/R encoder lets the drive verify rotor position continuously. Step loss is corrected as it happens rather than accumulated, which keeps the axis repeatable on long production runs.
The motor is aimed at packaging machinery, factory automation, precision robotic mechanisms, textile machinery, printing machinery, food processing, automated handling mechanisms and precision positioning mechanisms for battery equipment.
Mount to the standard NEMA24 flange and keep the 8 mm coupling true to the shaft axis. For closed-loop operation, confirm the encoder wiring matches the drive input. In continuous motion applications, monitor case temperature during the first run and derate duty cycle if the surface exceeds the specification limit.
