The JMC-101-32 is a 32-Axis Motion Controller in the JMC-101 series, configured for up to thirty-two EtherCAT drive axes or I/O devices with expansion to 256 digital inputs and 256 digital outputs. It shares the 800 MHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, and 512 MB storage (expandable to 1 GB) of the series, giving machine builders a consistent platform from 16 to 64 axes.

Platform and Interfaces

It carries the same interface set as the series: EtherCAT, two CAN ports (CANopen and custom protocols), RS485, RS232, USB 2.0, and Ethernet (Modbus or UDP). This common interface strategy simplifies spare parts management and engineering across different machine models.

Axis Configuration

This variant is configured for up to 32 EtherCAT drive axes or I/O devices. Digital I/O expands to 256 inputs and 256 outputs.

Programming

Ladder diagram, function block, and C language are supported within a multitasking framework. Integrated motion algorithms provide point-to-point motion, multi-axis linear interpolation, 2-3 axis circular interpolation, and 3-axis helical interpolation.
