Compact Dual-Axis Fieldbus Linear Motor Drive 5.5A

The JAWLD7502-23B-EC is a Dual-Axis Fieldbus Linear Motor Drive 5.5A that integrates two linear motor axes in a single 220 V drive with a 5.5 A output stage. Distributed by Lyenwsin, this dual-axis design reduces wiring and cabinet volume while running both axes from one EtherCAT node.

Gantry tracking for straight travel

Gantry sync tracking keeps the paired axes in step, important on inspection and semiconductor stages where one side lagging the other would shift the load angle. Auto-tune plus the latest PID keeps both loops settled quickly.

Feedback and commissioning

The drive accepts incremental and absolute linear modules, letting accuracy be tuned to the application. Standard EtherCAT talks to mainstream PLCs, and space-saving integration eases retrofit of existing installed systems.

Key Specifications

  • Supply voltage: 220 V
  • Output current: 5.5 A
  • Axes: dual integrated
  • Fieldbus: EtherCAT
  • Gantry sync tracking: yes
  • Linear feedback: incremental / absolute
  • Auto-tune: yes

Application Scenarios

The drive suits semiconductor equipment, precision positioning, inspection, CNC, battery, and laboratory equipment. Typical deployments are gantry pick-and-place cells, cross-table scanning stages, and dual-motor tables where one EtherCAT node must keep both carriages synchronized.

Selection Notes

Mechanical stiffness is half the job

For gantry applications, mechanical stiffness between the two carriages is as important as drive synchronization. Confirm the guide system can hold squareness before commissioning sync gains.

Match feedback to the accuracy budget

Choose incremental modules where cost matters and absolute modules where the machine must recover its position after a power cycle. Filters and a disturbance observer manage vibration; protections include overvoltage, undervoltage, overspeed, overload, position deviation, and encoder errors.

Because the two axes share one EtherCAT node, commissioning is reduced to a single address and a single set of sync parameters. This also cuts the spare-parts inventory, since one drive replaces two single-axis units and the associated cables.
