Integrated Servo With Bus Communication

This unit integrates a 400 W servo motor and drive in a 60 mm frame at 48 VDC and 11.0 A rated current. The integrated design removes the separate encoder cable, motor power cable, and signal wires typical of discrete servo systems. The axis connects to the network and a DC supply, reducing both assembly time and the number of failure points in the cable harness. Protection and Positioning Behavior

Overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and position-deviation protections are built in. The 17-bit absolute encoder gives the controller absolute position after power cycles, which is useful on indexing conveyors and robotic stations where re-homing interrupts production. The axis resumes work from the same position without a reference move.
