The IRSV80-30-75-48-17BC-RC/EC integrates a 750 W servo motor and drive in an 80 mm frame, powered from a 48 VDC supply with a rated current of 21.0 A. It is one of the higher-power integrated units in the fieldbus series and carries a 17-bit absolute encoder. Communication is supported over RS485 plus CANopen or EtherCAT through an RJ45 network port.
Because the encoder, motor and power stage share one housing, the separate encoder cable, motor power cable and signal wires of a conventional servo system are eliminated. The machine builder connects only a DC supply and the fieldbus line, which cuts the wiring work and the space needed in the control cabinet.
The unit includes protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and excessive position deviation. The 17-bit absolute encoder reports absolute position at power-up, removing the need for homing on multi-axis CNC and battery manufacturing stations where downtime for referencing is expensive.
The output level and bus connectivity suit CNC machine tools, packaging and textile lines, battery manufacturing equipment, and AGV/AMR systems that run on 48 VDC and need deterministic bus control. EtherCAT provides synchronized motion on larger machine networks, while CANopen/RS485 cover simpler distributed layouts.
