The JALD7502-20B-EC is a 220 V fieldbus linear motor drive with a 5.5 A output, part of the JALD general series. Its ARM+FPGA current loop delivers high dynamic response, which matters on axes that must accelerate quickly and settle without overshoot.
The internal disturbance observer rejects external disturbances so the position loop sees a cleaner error signal. Multi-mode control covers different motion profiles, and auto-tune adapts the loop to the actual attached inertia rather than relying on nameplate values.
This drive suits fast, short-stroke axes where response speed sets the cycle time:
5.5 A supports moderate linear motors; for heavier loads, move up the JASNLD flagship line rather than pushing this drive beyond its current rating.
The microUSB port simplifies on-site commissioning, and FOE allows firmware upgrades over the network, so distributed machines can be updated without a technician visit.
