The IESV57-30-14-36-17BC-RC pairs a 140 W servo motor with its controller into one 57 mm frame running off a 36 VDC supply. This single-body layout is aimed at installations where cabinet depth is limited and where keeping the electronics near the motor reduces interconnect complexity.
RS485 and CAN are both available, letting the axis share a network with other drives and a PLC without analog scaling. A 17-bit absolute encoder is integrated, so power-up does not require homing; the axis knows its position immediately, which shortens restart in indexing and rotary applications.
The consolidated connector set means motor power, feedback, and bus signals travel together on one lead, and the short internal path limits susceptibility to electrical noise from adjacent machinery.
The internal stage guards against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and position loss, reporting trips over the fieldbus. Steady-state loading should keep average current at or below 5.4 A so the frame-size heat path keeps the drive within its operating band.
This model is well matched to food processing and packaging lines, material handling conveyors, textile feeds, mobile robot positioners, and similar factory automation that values a compact bus-controlled axis.
