750 W Integrated Servo With Fieldbus Options

This unit is rated at 750 W and 21.0 A from a 48 VDC supply. A 17-bit absolute encoder provides feedback, and the unit communicates over RS485, CANopen, or EtherCAT through an RJ45 port. It targets axes that need the power of a separate drive system but not the cabinet space.

The Integrated Wiring Model

By housing the drive on the motor, the unit eliminates the encoder cable, motor power cable, and signal wires that a conventional servo axis requires. The axis connects to the DC bus and the network, which is particularly useful in battery manufacturing and CNC machines where many axes are packed into a machine frame. Assembly time drops because the wiring points are reduced to two connections per axis.

Protection and Absolute Positioning

Overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and position deviation protections are built in. The 17-bit absolute encoder removes homing sequences after power cycles, shortening restart time on production equipment.
