The IESVH40-30-10-24-17BC-RC/EC is a 40 mm integrated servo motor rated at 100 W and 8.0 A from a 24 VDC supply. A 17-bit absolute encoder provides feedback, and communication runs over RS485 with CANopen or EtherCAT options through an RJ45 network port. The small footprint and bus connectivity make it a natural fit for precision machinery where cabinets are remote or nonexistent.
In a 40 mm unit, every component must earn its space. Integrating the drive removes the external amplifier, encoder cable, motor power cable and signal wires, so the axis is installed as a single component with two connections: DC and bus.
Overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and position deviation protection are built in. The 17-bit absolute encoder gives the controller absolute position without a homing sequence, which is valuable in medical and semiconductor equipment where cycles must restart cleanly.
