This unit is a 200 W integrated servo motor in a 60 mm frame with a 17-bit absolute encoder and RS485/CANopen/EtherCAT communication through an RJ45 port. It behaves as a standalone node on the machine’s motion bus, so the controller manages motion, diagnostics, and parameters over the network rather than through dedicated wiring.
Because the drive is inside the motor housing, the encoder, power, and signal wiring of a conventional servo chain is gone. The axis needs only the DC input and the network cable, which keeps the wire tray small in machines with many axes spread along a line. Service staff can replace an axis without tracing cable bundles back to a central drive rack.
Overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and position-deviation protections are implemented on the unit. The 17-bit absolute encoder reports absolute position at power-up, eliminating re-homing in material handling and indexing equipment.
