The 2DM442 is a 2-phase stepper drive designed around a 24-36 VDC supply and a maximum output current of 4.2 A. The 36 V ceiling keeps the drive compatible with common low-voltage panels while still delivering enough phase current for two-phase stepping motors in compact machines.
Pulse/Dir control is supported, and the drive runs with low vibration to keep traverse motion smooth. On compact CNC equipment, the quieter output reduces resonance in the mechanical loop, which can improve contour accuracy at moderate feed rates.
Overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection are implemented at the output stage. Combined with the low supply ceiling, this makes the 2DM442 a straightforward component for panels that already carry 24 VDC control power.
