The 2DM860 is an 8.4A 2-Phase Stepper Drive rated for supply inputs of 24-110 VDC, or 18-80 VAC when an AC source is preferred. Its output stage delivers up to 8.4 A to the motor phases, giving it headroom for larger two-phase stepping motors that need sustained current during acceleration and at speed. The wide input window is one of its strongest selling points for distributors.

Command Modes

The drive accepts both Pulse/Dir and CW/CCW pulse formats. Pulse/Dir is the conventional choice when connecting to a PLC or motion card, while CW/CCW mode is convenient when the host controller already emits separate clockwise and counterclockwise pulse trains. No external protocol converters are required between the drive and a standard pulse-output controller.
