The 42J1860-417 is a NEMA17 Stepper Motor, the largest 42 mm-frame motor in this range at 60 mm, rated 0.70 N·m at 1.7 A with a 5 mm shaft. It is a 2-phase stepper suited to applications requiring the full torque availability of the NEMA17 frame, such as 3D printers and small laboratory stages.
At 0.70 N·m the longer stator stack moves heavier print carriages, dual-extruder heads and microscope-stage loads. The 1.7 A current and 5 mm shaft remain inside the common NEMA17 ecosystem, keeping existing drivers and couplings usable.
