• 100 mm long
• 5.0 A phase current
• 2.8 N.m holding torque
• 8 mm shaft size
• Built with high quality materials.High precision, low motor heating, and low vibration。
The 57J18100-450 is a NEMA23 (57 mm) 2-phase stepper motor, 100 mm long, with 2.8 N·m at a 5.0 A phase current and an 8 mm shaft. The higher current supports responsive torque delivery across the motion-control band.
At 5.0 A the motor holds strong torque for desktop CNC and robotics axes that need to respond cleanly to rapid step commands. The 2.8 N·m figure covers X/Y drives and rotary positioning within the 57 mm frame.
For desktop CNC, the motor provides steady cutting torque while preventing resonance-induced step loss when driven with microstepping. Motion control applications benefit from its torque reserve during acceleration.
The higher current winding requires adequate driver current and surface cooling to avoid thermal torque derating in continuous use.
Standard NEMA23 mount and 8 mm shaft accept common couplings. Verify driver current set correctly against the 5.0 A rating.
