The iESS57-36-20-17BC is a 57 mm integrated closed-loop stepper motor with an 80 mm body length and a 17-bit absolute encoder. Its single-piece construction contains both the motor and the drive, keeping the installation footprint small.
The 17-bit absolute encoder provides the controller with an unambiguous shaft position reference, so no homing run is required after power-up. Real-time error correction in the closed loop keeps the axis on its commanded path even when load torque changes during the move.
The motor delivers 2.0 N·m holding torque at a rated current of 5.0 A. Low heat generation keeps neighboring components cool, and the low-vibration design reduces stress on couplings and transmission elements. Fast acceleration is supported for short-stroke duties.
The unit is applied in factory automation, packaging machinery, robotics and CNC machine tools.
