The iESS60-36-20-17BC is a compact 60 mm integrated stepper motor with a 65 mm body length and a 17-bit absolute encoder. It is intended for applications where a short motor body and closed-loop positioning are both required.
Absolute encoder feedback gives the controller the exact shaft position at all times, and the loop applies real-time correction so the shaft follows the commanded profile. This reduces the chance of losing steps during fast moves and gives consistent behavior from one cycle to the next.
The motor provides 2.0 N·m holding torque at a rated current of 5.0 A. Its low heat generation allows use in tight enclosures, and low vibration keeps light mechanisms stable. The closed-loop response supports fast acceleration for short indexing moves.
