• Length 100 mm
• Holding torque 3.0 N·m
• Rated current 4.0 A
• Frame size 57 mm
• 17bit absolute encoder
• Low heat generation, low vibration, fast acceleration
The iESS57-36-30-17BC is an integrated stepper motor with a 57 mm frame, a 100 mm body and a 17-bit absolute encoder. It combines the motor and drive electronics in one housing, which simplifies mounting and reduces the wiring content of the control cabinet.
Because the encoder is absolute, the controller has the shaft position available immediately at power-on. The closed loop corrects the step sequence in real time, giving the axis servo-like positioning discipline while keeping the cost and simplicity of a stepper package.
Rated at 3.0 N·m holding torque and 4.0 A, the unit handles typical machine tool and automation axis loads. The drive is tuned for low heat generation during holding, and the low-vibration profile preserves accuracy in precision mechanisms. Fast acceleration supports high cycle rates.
Typical placements include factory automation, packaging machinery, robotics and CNC machine tools.
