The MCAC610-23B is a Low-Voltage Servo Drive 20A unit rated at 20 A maximum on a 24-60 VDC supply, aimed at smaller servo motors on inspection and packaging stations where a large-capacity drive would be wasted.
Choose this drive for the many light, fast axes in a modern line. On inspection equipment it runs the small pick-and-place heads and vision-triggered indexers where space is tight. Packaging machinery uses it for labelers, date coders and indexing star wheels. Robotics cells put it on compact gripper and small wrist axes, and semiconductor equipment drives gentle transport motions. In medical instrumentation it controls small lift and syringe stages, while printing uses it for ribbon and unwind tension rolls. Because it is compact, several drives share one low-voltage cabinet without crowding the rail.
The ARM+FPGA platform drives an optimized current loop with fast response and short settling time. 625 kHz current sampling and three selectable PWM frequencies let the drive tune switching behavior to the specific motor for low stop vibration.
Incremental or absolute encoder feedback is supported. Single-parameter stiffness setting, one-click auto-tuning, automatic vibration and resonance suppression and one-click resonance detection reduce setup time; configuration flows over a single USB cable.
Spec this drive when your motor’s continuous current sits well below 20 A so there is headroom for peak acceleration without oversizing the cabinet.
