Overview

The 110J12160EC-1000-SC is a NEMA 42 closed-loop stepper motor with brake, rated at 16 N·m holding torque with a 160 mm body length and 1,000 P/R encoder feedback.

Encoder-Based Positioning

Correcting in Real Time

The integrated 1,000 P/R encoder lets the drive verify rotor position continuously. Load changes that would cause an open-loop stepper to lose steps are corrected in real time, keeping the axis on its commanded path and eliminating cumulative positioning error.

Integrated Brake

The factory-fitted brake holds the load when power is cut. For vertical motion segments and machines that are stopped for long periods, this prevents drift and adds a safety element without extra pneumatic or mechanical hardware.
