The 86J12126EC-1000-60-SCG is a NEMA 34 closed-loop stepper motor with an integrated brake, rated at 6.8 N·m holding torque in a 126 mm body. It uses a 3.0 A phase current and 1,000 P/R feedback.
An integrated 1,000 P/R encoder feeds rotor position back to the drive, which corrects any deviation from the commanded position in real time. The system therefore tolerates load variation without accumulating positional error.
The brake engages automatically on power loss, holding the load in place. This makes the motor suitable for axes that must not move during downtime, and it removes the need for external brake hardware on compact machinery.
Factory automation, textile machinery, and precision robotic mechanisms are the typical installations. The compact format also works in printing and food processing equipment where space is limited and holding is required.
