The iESSC42-24-07 is an integrated closed-loop stepper motor built on a 42 mm frame with a 60 mm body length. The driver and motor are combined in one unit, which reduces cabinet space and simplifies the wiring needed for a complete axis.
A 1000 P/R incremental encoder on the shaft supplies position information to the integrated controller. The closed loop corrects positioning errors in real time, so the motor does not rely on step counting alone. This improves reliability in applications with varying load and frequent starts and stops.
