• Length 80 mm
• Holding torque 2.0 N·m
• Rated current 5.0 A
• Frame size 57 mm
• 1000P/R incremental encoder
• Low heat generation, low vibration, fast acceleration
The iESSC57-36-20 pairs a 57 mm stepper motor with an integrated drive and a 1000 P/R incremental encoder in an 80 mm body length. The single-piece design removes the need for a separate driver and keeps the wiring short, which simplifies panel layout and reduces installation work.
The encoder reports shaft position to the integrated controller, which corrects the output in real time. Unlike a conventional stepper that only counts steps, this unit verifies that the shaft actually reached the commanded position, so positioning stays repeatable under changing load.
Holding torque is rated at 2.0 N·m, with a rated current of 5.0 A available to the drive stage. The controller limits heat generation during holding, and the low-vibration profile reduces mechanical stress on belts and couplings. Fast acceleration is supported by the closed-loop response, which is useful for short-stroke indexing moves.
Typical installations include factory automation, packaging machinery, robotics and CNC machine tools where a compact 57 mm drive with closed-loop control is required.
