The 8A 3-Phase Stepper Drive 3DM2080 is rated for up to 8.0 A of output current from an 80-220 VAC supply. Drive Topology and Control

The drive converts controller-level step and direction signals, in either Pulse/Dir or CW/CCW pulse format, into three-phase motor excitation. It runs open-loop, so positioning is defined by commanded steps and there is no feedback loop to tune. This simplifies integration into PLC- and controller-driven axes.
