The 3DM3722 is a three-phase stepper drive rated for up to 7.0 A of output current from an 80-230 VAC supply. It is designed to drive 3-phase stepper motors in open-loop systems where a controller issues step and direction signals.
The drive accepts standard Pulse/Dir and CW/CCW pulse modes, so it integrates directly with CNC controllers and PLC pulse outputs. Because operation is open-loop, no encoder feedback or tuning loop is required, which shortens commissioning on multi-axis machines.
Integrated overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection guard the drive and motor against supply and wiring faults. The output stage is tuned for low noise and vibration, producing smooth stepper motion that reduces mechanical stress on the axis.
