The JAND4002-20B is a 400W 180-240VAC Servo Drive with a 9.6 A maximum output current and dual serial interfaces. Its peak-like current capability makes it a strong fit for acceleration-heavy axes despite its modest continuous power.

Peak Current for Fast Moves

A 9.6 A maximum output current supports elevated acceleration torque on light servo motors, shortening settling time on indexing and positioning moves common in assembly equipment.

Feedback and Command Inputs

The drive reads 17/23-bit absolute encoders. Two analog command inputs accept -10 V to 10 V, served by 8 digital inputs and 5 digital outputs for machine interfacing.

Communications

RS232 and RS485 interfaces are both included. RS232 is used for direct, single-drive tuning; RS485 allows the drive to participate in a shared network with other axes and a host controller. Commissioning over RS232 with a PC is convenient when a single axis must be tuned on the bench, while RS485 handles normal production traffic so the controller can read position, speed, torque, and fault status from each drive in sequence.

External Braking Resistor

No built-in braking resistor is fitted, so an external braking resistor is needed when the load regenerates substantial energy during deceleration.

Protection Functions

Overvoltage, undervoltage, overspeed, and overload protection are standard.

Typical Applications

CNC machine tools, factory automation, semiconductor equipment, robotics, battery manufacturing, material handling, and packaging machinery.

Selection Considerations

Match the motor’s peak current to the 9.6 A capability and confirm the supply line voltage is within the 180-240 VAC window. Size the external braking resistor to the deceleration energy of the axis. Lyenwsin can advise on the correct resistor and network wiring.
