The JAND7502-20B-DB44 is a 750 W high-voltage servo drive designed for a 220 VAC supply. It delivers a maximum output current of 16.9 A, which gives it enough headroom for servo motors that briefly demand more than the rated current during acceleration or reversing. The drive is built for position, speed, and torque control, with control precision derived from closed loop feedback rather than open-loop stepping.
Position feedback comes from 17/23-bit absolute encoders, so the drive always knows the absolute rotor position even after a power cycle. This is a practical advantage on machines that must resume from a known position after an interruption.
Two analog command inputs accept -10 V to 10 V signals, allowing external controllers or PLC analog outputs to command speed or torque directly. The DB44 variant provides 8 digital inputs and 5 digital outputs for limit switches, sensors, enable signals, and status reporting.
Parameter configuration runs through a MicroUSB port, and an RS485 interface supports fieldbus networking. With RS485, multiple drives can share a single network segment, which simplifies wiring on multi-axis machines.
A built-in braking resistor absorbs regenerative energy during deceleration of high-inertia loads; the terminal also supports an external braking resistor when deceleration duty is heavy. The drive monitors overvoltage, undervoltage, overspeed, and overload conditions and shuts down protectively rather than letting a fault propagate to the motor or machine.
