The MCAC610-23B-EC is a 10A EtherCAT Servo Drive for compact synchronized axes running on a 24-60 VDC bus. Offered through Lyenwsin, the drive provides fully digital position, velocity, homing, and torque control with protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, position deviation, and disconnection faults. It is a compact, mid-range option for EtherCAT-coordinated lighter machines.

Control and Coordination

An ARM processor with a large FPGA executes the digital position, velocity, homing, and torque loops. Auto-tuning and resonance frequency identification help the drive settle different light loads quickly, while EtherCAT’s efficient cyclic exchange keeps multiple drives synchronized to a single network master.

EtherCAT Multi-Axis Motion

For cells running several smaller drives on one bus, EtherCAT lets each axis close its own loop while the group moves in a coordinated fashion. This reduces point-to-point step wiring and gives a single controller a coherent view of every station on the network.

Feedback and Interfacing

Both incremental and absolute encoders are supported to cover different accuracy and cost needs. Rich I/O terminals provide limit switch, homing reference, and probe functions, and the drive works with PLCs from Inovance, Leadshine, Omron, Delta, and Beckhoff. Fault protection trips the axis to contain electrical and positional problems.
