The MCAC610-23B-PN is a fieldbus low-voltage servo drive rated at 10 A output current from a 24-60 VDC supply, networked over ProfiNET. It provides protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, position deviation, and disconnection faults. Its lower current rating makes it a compact option for lighter fieldbus-controlled axes.
An ARM processor with a large programmable logic gate array (FPGA) runs the fully digital position, velocity, homing, and torque loops. Auto-tuning and resonance frequency identification let the drive settle lighter mechanical loads with minimal manual tuning, and the smaller power stage keeps the footprint appropriate for panel-constrained machines.
ProfiNET provides a standard plant-level interface for cyclic control and diagnostics. A ProfiNET master can command the 10 A axis and read back its status over the network, integrating it cleanly into a wider controller architecture without dedicated point-to-point wiring.
The drive supports both incremental and absolute encoders to cover differing accuracy and cost targets. Rich I/O terminals provide limit switch, homing reference, and probe functions, and the drive interoperates with PLCs from Inovance, Leadshine, Omron, Delta, and Beckhoff. Fault protection trips the axis to contain electrical and positional faults.
The drive suits packaging machinery, factory automation, robotics, inspection and semiconductor equipment, medical instrumentation, and printing lines where a compact 10 A ProfiNET servo axis provides dependable, protected motion within a space-constrained cabinet.
