The MCAC8A0-23B-RC is a 100A CANopen Servo Drive rated for a 100 A output current from a 24-80 VDC supply, networked via RS485+CANopen. Available through Lyenwsin, it provides alarm protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, position deviation, and disconnection faults. Its high current rating supports demanding single-axis stations that run close to continuous torque limits.
An ARM processor with a large programmable logic gate array (FPGA) executes the fully digital position, velocity, homing, and torque loops. Auto-tuning and resonance frequency identification let the drive handle varying load inertias, while the 100 A stage covers peak current draw during high-acceleration and hard-loading moves.
RS485+CANopen provides a dependable, widely deployed fieldbus that integrates cleanly into factories already normalized on CANopen. The master can read drive status and issue cyclic commands through the network, making a high-current axis a standard node rather than a custom-wired station.
Both incremental and absolute encoders are supported so the drive fits different accuracy and cost targets. Rich I/O terminals cover limit switch, homing reference, and probe functions, with compatibility for PLCs from Inovance, Leadshine, Omron, Delta, and Beckhoff.
