The iHSS42-24-07 is a 42mm closed loop Stepper Motor that mounts a digital stepper drive and a 42 mm NEMA17-frame motor in one assembly, with a 60 mm stack length. Its 1000P/R incremental encoder closes the position loop, so the drive can confirm the rotor reached its target rather than assuming it did. This makes the motor a practical fit for axes where an ordinary stepper would risk losing steps under variable load.

Encoder Feedback and Thermal Behavior

With 0.7 N·m of holding torque and a 1.7 A rated current, the motor is sized for smaller mechanisms and short strokes.
