The iESS86-60-45-17BC-RC/EC is an 86 mm integrated stepper motor rated at 4.5 N·m holding torque and 6.0 A phase current, powered from a 60 VDC bus. It combines the larger 86 mm frame with the lower voltage tier of the fieldbus closed-loop range.
The 86 mm frame provides mechanical stiffness and a large mounting face for torque reaction. Running on 60 VDC keeps the power supply simpler than the 80 VDC models while still delivering 4.5 N·m holding torque.
RS485+CAN and EtherCAT are both offered. The 17-bit absolute encoder feeds the closed loop and gives absolute rotor position at power-up, eliminating homing cycles on every restart.
Continuous torque is limited by frame temperature. With 6.0 A available, duty cycling is the safest operating mode at the rated 4.5 N·m; provide a metal heat path from the flange to the machine base for longer duty periods.
