The iESS86-60-45-17BC-RC/EC is a 4.5 N·m closed loop Stepper Motor in an 86 mm frame, powered from a 60 VDC bus at 6.0 A. It combines the larger frame with the lower voltage tier of the fieldbus closed loop range, and it carries a 17-bit absolute encoder with RS485+CAN or EtherCAT fieldbus. This unit is supplied as an integrated axis for industrial automation and CNC applications.

Frame Size vs. Voltage

Duty and Cooling

Continuous torque is limited by frame temperature. Sizing Notes

Match the axis inertia and acceleration profile to the torque-speed curve for the 60 VDC bus, and confirm the supply can hold 6.0 A during acceleration peaks. For lower-voltage plants, the 60 VDC input reduces the cost of the power distribution components while keeping the 86 mm frame torque class.
