The iHSV60-30-20-36 is a 200 W integrated servo motor in a 60 mm frame with an 85 mm body length and 8.5 A rated current at 3000 RPM. Because the driver is part of the motor, a distributed axis needs only a DC supply and a control signal; there is no separate drive to mount in a central cabinet. This is especially convenient for machines built around decentralized motion, such as conveyors and multi-station handling systems.

Closed-loop control with incremental feedback

Full closed-loop digital control of position, speed and current is implemented on the unit, with the incremental encoder providing commutation and velocity feedback. The integrated loop closure simplifies commissioning compared with discrete drive systems.
