• 3 phase, NEMA 42 frame size
• 135 mm long
• 4.5 A phase current
• 12 N.m holding torque
• 19 mm shaft size
• Integrated 17bit encoder,
• high efficiency, low noise, fast response, high torque, high speed and low vibration。
The 110J12135EC-17BC provides 12 N.m holding torque from a 135 mm NEMA 42 body, drawing 4.5 A per phase on a 19 mm shaft. It is the shortest unit in this NEMA 42 series, combining heavy-frame mounting with lower inertia for faster cycle times.
The integrated 17-bit encoder reports rotor position to the drive at high resolution. The controller compares measured position with the commanded step sequence and corrects any deviation before it affects the part. This makes the motor a practical alternative to small servos on axes where the load is heavy but the control system is stepper-based.
Holding torque is the standstill rating. At speed, available torque declines with the winding’s current rise capability; the 4.5 A rating defines the thermal envelope. The closed loop lowers standing current during dwell, keeping the frame cooler in enclosed machine housings.
The motor is used in CNC machine tools, packaging machinery, factory automation, precision robotic mechanisms, textile and printing machinery, food processing, and automated handling mechanisms. Its 12 N.m rating covers machine tool axes, indexing tables, and heavy material-handling mechanisms. For heavy load CNC axis feeds and rotary table indexing, the 17-bit feedback keeps each move repeatable.
