The 130J12205EC-17BC offers 28 N.m holding torque from a 205 mm NEMA 52 body, drawing 6.8 A per phase on a 24 mm shaft. It shares the heavy-duty frame with the 35 N.m unit but with a shorter stack, trading a little torque for lower inertia and a shorter envelope.
The 3-phase winding with integrated 17-bit encoder provides smooth torque and high-resolution position feedback. The drive continuously compares the commanded position with the encoder reading and corrects any step error in real time. For heavy-load automation, this removes the risk of silently lost steps during acceleration or load spikes.
Holding torque is rated at standstill. Running torque falls with speed as current build-up in the 6.8 A winding lags the electrical cycle. Closed-loop current management keeps the motor cooler during long dwells, and the 24 mm shaft provides a stiff connection to gearboxes or direct couplings.
