The JAND2002-20B-P28 is a 200W High-Voltage Servo Drive rated for 220 VAC supplies, with a 5.8 A maximum output current. It fills the middle of the small-power range, where axes need more torque than a 100 W drive but do not require a 400 W unit.

Balanced Power and Current

The 5.8 A peak capability supports brisk acceleration on light-to-moderate axes, which suits fast feed and registration moves in production machinery. The drive keeps the install simple with a single analog command input and a compact digital I/O set.

Feedback and Command Inputs

The drive supports 17/23-bit absolute encoders for accurate, power-cycle-retained position. One analog command input accepts -10 V to 10 V, and the P28 variant provides 5 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs.

Setup and Networking

A MicroUSB port handles parameter configuration, while RS485 enables networked multi-axis control. During commissioning, loop gains, current limits, and encoder direction can be tuned from a PC and then saved; on production lines, identical settings can be copied to other drives so a replacement unit can be brought online quickly.

External Braking Resistor

No built-in braking resistor is fitted, so an external braking resistor is required when the attached load stores significant energy during deceleration.

Protection Functions

Overvoltage, undervoltage, overspeed, and overload protection are built in.

Typical Applications

CNC machine tools, factory automation, semiconductor equipment, robotics, battery manufacturing, material handling, and packaging machinery are the typical installations.

Selection Considerations

Verify the motor’s peak current demand against the 5.8 A headroom and confirm the external braking resistor can absorb regeneration from the load. For multi-axis machines, plan the RS485 bus addressing during commissioning. Lyenwsin’s team can assist with drive selection and cabling.
