The iHSS60-36-35-RC/EC integrates the stepper driver into a 60 mm frame motor, removing the need for a separate drive unit on the axis. The result is a shorter mechanical envelope and fewer interconnections between the control cabinet and the motion module.
Running from a 36 VDC supply and 5.0 A rated current, the unit uses its 1000 P/R incremental encoder to close the position loop. Feedback-driven correction keeps motion smooth at low and medium speeds, where open-loop steppers are most vulnerable to resonance and missed steps.
RS485, CAN and EtherCAT interfaces are integrated, allowing the motor to connect directly to factory automation networks. This makes commissioning, parameter setting and diagnostics available over the machine network.
