Driver-On-Board Design for Space-Constrained Machines

The iHSS60-36-35-RC/EC integrates the stepper driver into a 60 mm frame motor, removing the need for a separate drive unit on the axis. The result is a shorter mechanical envelope and fewer interconnections between the control cabinet and the motion module.

Closed-Loop Operation on a 36 VDC Bus

Running from a 36 VDC supply and 5.0 A rated current, the unit uses its 1000 P/R incremental encoder to close the position loop. Feedback-driven correction keeps motion smooth at low and medium speeds, where open-loop steppers are most vulnerable to resonance and missed steps.

Network-Ready Communication
