The 60J18100EC-1000-LS-SCG is a 2-phase closed-loop stepper motor in a NEMA24 frame with an integrated brake and a 100 mm body. Holding torque is 3.5 N·m at 5.0 A phase current, delivered through an 8 mm shaft. It is built for the mid-range of machine automation where NEMA34 is oversized and NEMA23 is not enough.

Closed-loop accuracy with integrated encoder

The integrated 1,000 P/R encoder closes the position loop around the motor. Step loss is detected and corrected during motion, so the axis stays synchronized with the controller even when load varies. For the machine builder this means tighter positioning repeatability than an open-loop stepper of the same frame.

Holding brake as standard

The brake holds the shaft with power off, preventing axis drift on vertical movements and during idle phases. On textile and printing machines this keeps the material web tensioned between indexing moves.

Operating guidance
