• Supply Voltage 24 VDC
• Rated current 1.7 A
• RS485+CAN/EtherCAT
• 17bit absolute encoder
• Closed-loop control, compact structure, low vibration
The iESSH42-24-07-17BC-RC/EC is the compact end of the fieldbus closed-loop range: a 42 mm integrated stepper motor rated at 0.7 N·m holding torque, running from a 24 VDC supply at 1.7 A. It is intended for small positioning axes where machine builders want closed-loop behavior without the footprint of a separate drive.
A 24 VDC bus is convenient in machines that already carry 24 V for sensors and valves. The integrated drive accepts that supply directly, so no additional power module is needed on the axis.
The 17-bit absolute encoder reports rotor position without a homing move, and RS485+CAN or EtherCAT connects the unit to the controller. Parameter setting and diagnostics are done over the same bus.
With 0.7 N·m available, this size suits light indexing and short-stroke positioning. Heat is generated inside the motor body, so avoid fully enclosed mounting pockets; the frame surface should be open to ambient air.
