The iESSH60-36-20-17BC-RC/EC combines a closed-loop stepper motor and its driver in a single 60 mm housing. Rated at 2.0 N·m holding torque and 5.0 A phase current on a 36 VDC bus, it targets axes where panel space is limited and running a separate drive is not practical.
Two newton-metres of holding torque suits medium-size positioning stages and light conveying axes. The integrated drive removes the motor-driver cable run, which also eliminates a common source of step-pulse noise in conventional stepper systems.
Choose RS485+CAN or EtherCAT for this model. The closed-loop parameters, current settings, and motion data are reachable over the fieldbus, so parameter changes do not require physical access to the unit.
Closed-loop control corrects missed steps in real time rather than waiting for the next homing operation. The result is better stiffness during load changes and a more repeatable final position compared with an open-loop stepper of the same frame size.
