The iESSH86-60-45-17BC-RC/EC is an integrated closed-loop stepper motor rated at 4.5 N·m holding torque in an 86 mm frame. It operates from 60 VDC at 6.0 A and integrates the drive with RS485, CAN and EtherCAT fieldbus and a 17-bit absolute encoder.

One-unit drive and motor

The drive is mounted on the motor, so the axis connects to the machine with a DC supply and a fieldbus cable. There is no separate driver to install, and the phase wiring between driver and motor is gone. This cuts installation labor on machines that use several axes and keeps each axis independently replaceable.

Fieldbus integration

RS485, CAN and EtherCAT are available. The 60 VDC input reduces the power-bus cost compared with 80 VDC variants, while the 6.0 A rating maintains strong torque for the 86 mm frame. On-board closed-loop control executes the positioning logic locally.

Encoder precision and behavior

The 17-bit absolute encoder gives high-resolution feedback and keeps position after power loss. The closed loop corrects step errors during motion and holds position at standstill, which helps maintain repeatability in handling and packaging cells.
