The 60ASM200-5-17BCH-DB15 is a 200W Low-Voltage Servo Motor that runs on a 36 VDC supply and delivers 200 W from a 60 mm frame. With 0.64 N·m continuous torque at 3,000 r/min, a 17-bit magnetic encoder and an integrated holding brake, it is sized for light guidance, indexing and transfer axes on inspection and assembly equipment rather than heavy lifting duties.
Operating at 36 VDC lowers dielectric stress, simplifies wiring and eases integration into low-voltage, battery-friendly control cabinets common in mobile and clean-room equipment. The low fault energy near wet or washdown zones makes the construction attractive for food processing lines as well.
A 17-bit magnetic encoder provides absolute feedback for smooth closed loop control. On low-torque, small-stroke axes this reduces the position error that open-loop steppers accumulate, giving more repeatable results at moderate speed during repeated start-stop cycles.
The holding brake locks the shaft when power is removed, useful on guide rails, vertical spindles and rotary turrets that must hold position during idle. Because the motor is small, thermal rise is modest at continuous torque, so it can run inside tight enclosures with minimal airflow.
On packaging lines the motor drives short-stroke push and pull stations and belt tension rollers where position repeatability matters more than raw power. In material handling it operates as a low-inertia pick axis on gantry arms and small conveyor diverters. Food processing benefits from the 36 VDC construction, which keeps fault energy low near wet or washdown zones, and the 60 mm frame fits the compact transfer arms used on filling and cartoning machines. On AGV and AMR platforms the motor provides the steering and light lift axes directly from the battery-fed DC bus, removing the need for an AC inverter in the control stack.
Use this unit where the available control bus is already DC and the axis torque demand stays below about 0.6 N·m continuous. Because the brake is integral, it suits vertically mounted axes that must not drift after a quit. Confirm the 60 mm flange and shaft match your coupling and that the 36 VDC rail can supply the peak inrush during acceleration. For higher torque in the same voltage class, step up the frame size in the series rather than overloading this motor. Lyenwsin technical support can help confirm driver pairing before you order.
